update on working on saving money goals

Things we need to work on:
not eating out so much- been doing good at this in February got to keep it up, not only because it is bad for our budget it is also bad for our waistline, although I do enjoy going out to eat at a reasonable priced restaurant sometimes- so am not going going to cut out restaurants all together
gas for car/truck consumption- I have been using very little gas in my car- only have filled up my car twice so far this year however, we usually take the husbands truck when we go out- I have been making sure to group my errands together, the husband stills goes "into town" as he calls it a lot when I feel like he could cut back and group more of his errands together- having a hard time making him do this.
using our woodstove more- the first year we had it was running almost constantly in the winter- we have been okay about this- but not great- its is running about 60 percent of the time and I have been making an effort to make sure we have wood brought in however sometimes we both get lazy about it and we have skipped a couple of days, plus sometimes it goes out at night and we don't get it started again right away in the morning.
turning off lights/appliances to save on electricity more- although I have been making a conscious effort to turn off lights when I leave the room- they still sometimes end up being left on and I noticed the husband had the heat running in the basement when he wasn't down there(very annoyed about that one), plus it seems like the heat in the office gets left on often and I have to turn it down because the husband forgets- so need to work on this.
more couponing- not much couponing this month, instead shopping at the discount store that doesn't take coupons- however need to do this to build up the stockpile of tooth paste, shampoo, razors, etc so we are not having to pay full price for these items.
not letting food go to waste in fridge- have been doing pretty good about this-- haven't had to throw out much.
