I love the gap outlet. It is where I get about 80 percent of my clothes now. It is about 35 minutes from out house, lucky for me it is not closer otherwise I would spend too much there. Today I got:
Black peacoat for Craig's sister: original 90 clearance price after 40 percent off additional: 23
Craig Boxers: original 12.99: 3 dollars
Tights: original 9.99: 4 dollars
Cardigan originally 40: 12 dollars
They have take an additioanl 40 percent off all the time and most of their stuff is already 30-70 percent off. It is soo much cheaper then shopping at the regular gap store. And I only like to buy bargains so I love it.

Ironic or just really bad statistics?
We told one other couple we were pregnant and only because she told us she was, we are not even that close with them but wanted to share because she did and was only 7 weeks. Anyways, we e-mailed them about 4 days after we miscarried (this was only about a week from when we originally told them) to tell them since we were going to their Christmas party the next night. She e-mailed back and said she miscarried too. As it turns out we miscarried at almost the same time. She was 7 weeks and I was 10. We both have miscarried naturally, and hopefully we both will not have to get anything else done (my levels haven't gone back to 0 yet). Even more ironically the one blog where the person was one week ahead of me, miscarried at almost the same time (10 weeks one week before me). I read about 5-10 blogs regular on the bump, most are still trying and a couple are in their 2nd or third trimester. They say the miscarriage rate in the first trimester is 15-25 percent.
I am hopefully the miscarriage was just bad luck/statistics and next time will go better. However, I know I am going to be scared at least the whole first trimester. Also, I am already thinking about every little thing and symptom wondering could this mean their is something wrong with me? Because this happens during my cycle dies this mean their is something wrong? Is this what caused miscarriage? I think I will just have to have faith that it will all work out. And even if for some reason we had trouble, their is always adoption which I am not opposed to.

only so much luck
Just this weekend I was thinking about how lucky we are- good health, house, successful, not that both my husband and I haven't had past struggles because we def have- however, in this point in our life I felt pretty lucky and still do, however sometimes I feel like maybe if you have too much good luck something bad will eventually happen and it did yesterday. Not that I feel unlucky, even though we suffered a miscarriage yesterday after 9 weeks of pregnancy, I still feel lucky. We are healthy, we have some many blessings. We got pregnant without really trying, so I am hopeful that next time we will have a successful pregnancy. We didn't tell anyone we were pregnant except my doctor, dentist, and one not too close friend of my husbands that just told us she was pregnant so we decided to tellwher now I completely regret telling her because we are supposed to go to a party there this weekend and now I def don't want to go. I guess it is easier to not deal with sympathy. I don't want sympathy or people feeling sorry for us. I just want to move on for it. However, now I feel that I will be very fearful of miscarriage if I get pregnant again. I don't even know if I want to get pregnant again right away or not, our original plan was to try to conceive in January or after and we just happened to not be that careful and get pregnant, we were really excited about it starting buying baby stuff and all that. I am 25 so still young enough to wait if I want to, maybe get back in good running shape again. But then there is the part of me that wants to get pregnant again right away because we were so excited about having a baby and because until I get pregnant again I will keep on fearing miscarriage until we do have a successful pregnancy.

I taught Eli to come when outside! One problem down many more to go
I have successful taught Eli to come when I call him in from outside. i have spent many times chasing Eli around the yard because he wouldn't come in and I would have someplace to be. By giving lots of praise everytime he came in when called and giving him a piece of cheese he now comes in pretty much every time I call him in from outside. One problem down, many more to go!

Organizing and recipes
Last night my husband and I organized the dresser drawers in the bedroom, so now instead of a cluttered mess they are neat and I can find the stuff I want to wear quickly. Today I cleaned out my purse. I have yet to do anything else yet, so we will see if I get to anything. On the positive side after work I did about an hour of billing and paperwork and then I made dinner and cleaned the dishes/counter.
I made budget savy divy's copy cat Red lobsters cheddar biscuits and the spaghetti squash casserole recipe found here: http://theomgmom.com/spaghetti-squash-casserole/
Both are very easy to make and take little time and were very good. Make sure you add the garlic powder to both though to give it more flavor. The spaghetti squash was on sale last week for 79 cents a pound- don't know if I will find it that cheap again for awhile and the biscuits are great because I can put it in the husbands lunch for the next day- I have been trying to make his lunch more often now so he stops going to McDonald's or getting fatty food for lunch. Not that a pack him the healthiest lunches, but better then McDonald's. I usually pack him cut up cheese, biscuits or wheat rolls, peanut butter and banana sandwiches, fruit, and granola bars or something similar. He eats a ton, so I have to pack a lot.

organizing and a healthy, easy recipe
So I decided I need to get more organizer and work on having a cleaner house- don't care about the house being spotless but I for the most part only surface clean and rarely organize and deep clean and a messy house causes stress, so I am going to work on doing 20 minutes of organzing deep, cleaning every night.
Last night: organize two shelves of pots and pans (have been meaning to do this for a long time!) and my mom was up and organized one of the two cabinets full of dry food. Then did a bunch of surface cleaning, picking up. and organized one of the baskets in family room.
Today: We finally got the old mattress out of our bedroom- another thing I have been wanting the husband to help with for a long time- so nice to have it gone- so I then picked up the clothes around bedroom and swept the floor- not exactly deep cleaning or organizing but progress.
So I have not been walking or running- need to work on that. Also well the dog is much better now when coming when called still need to work with the dog. I have been tracking my food on fitness pal a lot to make sure I am eating enough good food. Lately I have also been cooking more- focusing on making healthier vegetarian meals.
super easy, healthy vegetarian recipe
1 can of diced tomatoes with lime and cilantro (you could use other types of diced tomatoes if prefer)
1 can of diced tomatoes with chilies
1 can of corn
1 can of black beans
brown rice
mexican shredded cheese
1/2 packet of taco seasoning we like the spicy one
all you do is is mix up all the ingredients except the cheese in a casserole dish (I drain the corn and black beans but not the tomatoes) and bake for like 45 minutes to an hour until the rice is tender then top with the cheese and put in the oven for another 5 minutes and you are done.

milage fail and clearance finds
I have not been keeping up with my walking/running.
I have been waking up really early on the weekends- before 7. Maybe I go to bed too early.
I have a lot of paperwork I should get done this weekend, but of course I don't want to do it and they are talking about a little bit of snow next week which adds to my paperwork (praying for no snow and just rain)
Got some good deals at Jcpennys clearance sale yesterday. 2 babies legging and 2 osh gosh jumpers they were each 1.40 each, I figure that is close enough to garage sale price I can stock up for baby showers, our future babies. I also got 2 shirts for me that were 4.80 each. I am not sure why people don't like Jcpenny there I am a huge bargain shopper and ever since they went to this new pricing thing I have gotten some amazing deals. I have found clothes there for me for 2 dollars each, lots of baby clothes for 2 dollars each. I used to no shop much at Jcpenny but now that I can get such cheap clothes I shop there often. Now that they did the additional 30 percent off it is making the deals even better. Hopefully the deals stay good. I am upset however they discontined the husbands jeans. He only wear the Arizona carpenter jeans in 36 long and has worn them for years and they were cheap and good quality now they don't sell them. He is 6'6 so we have trouble finding him jeans long enough in the store.

day 16 and bargain shopping
day 16
today: 2.85
total: 25.4 miles
So not do such a great job about keeping up with the running/walking. I did do yard work for about 50 minutes on friday, but find it hard to walk or run everyday. And with the hurricane coming and bringing rain I prob will not be able to walk outside for at least a couple of days. I have a treadmill however it is upstairs and our upstairs is quite in the state of disray right now. We got some new furniture at an estate sale about a month ago and now are working on paintin, putting new trim up, taking staples out of the floor for when we tore the carpet up.
We got a 4 poster queen bed, 2 4 poster twin beds, a dresser, a liquor cabinet (looks like a dresser) a mirror and all this bedding (don't use that on our bed) and the 3 high end matresses that go with the beds for 760. It was from a bed and breakfast. All the furniture is antiques and it was the last day of the sale so we got a good deal.
We have been keeping Eli off the couch. However, otherwise need to work on the dog training.
Went shopping yesterday and got some good deals- a mini candle for free from bath and body works and at JcPenny I got a pair of leggings (8 each), 3 baby outfits (2 dollars each), and two pair of underwear (2 dollars each) and then I had a 10 dollar coupon so got it all for 8 dollars. I always stock up on baby clothes when they are 2 dollars and under. People sometimes think I am nuts since we don't have kids yet, but for 1 or 2 dollars an outfit it is as cheap as garage sales and they are often marked down 90 percent are off. I have found these deals at Jcpenny, Kohls, walmart, and burlington coat factory when it was going out of business. I figure even if I don't use them I can practically make all my money back if I keep the tags on them and sell them at a garage sale. I have been buying a pretty equal amount of boys and girls ones. And they are great for baby shower gifts.

Day 12
2.85 miles
Total: 19.7
This means I am a little over 4 miles behind, however we went on our honeymoon to the Bahamas and just got back, so I figured I would not get running in on the trip. So not I need to catch up.
I have done little with formal dog training, although last night we started the no on the couch rule.

Goals Dog Training and Running
So we have a dog in need of some serious training- I did the stupid thing of picking the shelter puppy that was cowering in his crate the dog they say to never pick because they will have fear issues- but his brother was all over you biting and Eli was so calm and cuddly. Anyways he of course has major fear issues that have not gotten any better and may have gotten worse. He has food aggressive problems, is afraid of men, barks at people walking and biking by our house (he is trained on an electric fence). He knows the commands sit, stay, shake, and come (but come only happens when he is inside and even then it is not always). The list of things we will be working on:
1. food and territory (territory is rare) aggressiveness
2. coming when called outside
3. greeting strangers
4. not barking at strangers
5. not playing biting
6. not jumping on strangers
The list two are not big problems and do not happen frequently. I am giving my self 50 days of dog training to see how many of these things he can make progress on before we have to hire a professional maybe? (note we did go to a dog trainer about his food aggressiveness for a 45 minute private session but only mildly helpful) also the 50 days are not going to be consecutive, hopefully i can stick to training at least 3-4 days a week
Day 1: 15 minutes of working on coming inside and out and while playing did excellent with this however he was very sleepy because he just woke up from a nap so prob contributed to success
Goal 2 is 50 days of running to get to 100 miles which will be consecutive, but I don't have to run everyday I just have to reach 100 miles in 50 days. I am counting yesterdays run as day 1 because I thought of this idea during yesterdays run on like the first or 2nd loop.
So Day 1: 11.5 miles
Day 2. No running very sore

11.5 miles
So I went for a run today and basically kept on running till I could run no more to see how far I could go. I did about 11.5 miles, I did my normal 2.85 loop 4 times.
1st loop: 32:10 with dog and ipod
2nd loop: 29:45 without dog and ipod
3rd loop: 30:30? tried bringing the dog again and he was too tired so brought him back/ with ipod
4th loop: 43-44 minutes ipod died shortly into run
I think my overall time was about 2 hours and 14 mins the 1st and 2nd loop were almost all running the 3rd was still more running then walking the last loop was mostly walking. My legs are very sore and that was what was holding me back from going further, but still glad I can run that far after not running more then 4 miles for years and my running over the last couple of years has been very little.

15-20 pounds heavier than high school or college?
I was a runner in high school, cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, joined the cross country team in college and by the time indoor track rolled around I decided I hated college running and quit the team. The rest of college I was pretty good about going to the gym or outside regular with my roomate or by myself to run. However once I moved back home, the running gradually dwindled to only occasionally running I would get on a running "streak" and run for 2 weeks and then not run again for a month or more. This has been going on ever since- 4 years later. Add in the fact that my bf now husband has bad eating habits/loves to eat out and my lack of cooking skills or desire to cook and now I am 15-20lbs heavier- still thin by most people standards, but most of my once favorite pants do not fit and I am sick of it. So I am going to try to live a healthier less processed life style, and run more. Not only because it makes me thinner because it also makes me feel happier and more accomplished.
