10 weeks

Sleep:  same as at 8 weeks: okay, wake up multiple times in the nigh, think part of the problem is I am hungry at night because I can't keep dinner down.

weight 151 up 1 pound from pre- pregnancy weight

Cravings/Food Aversions:  can't eat bagels anymore. Hot chocolate colatta (even thought I really want a coffee colatta), cinnamon and sugar toast, nachos

Belly Button:  In

Rings on or off: On

Stretch Marks: no

Best moment: reaching 10 weeks and finding out my hormone levels are high and still going up.

Looking forward to:  still not feeling sick, having energy back. Hopefully in 2 weeks I will feel much better

What I miss:  still not feeling sick and ridiculous tired I had a couple of "good" days this week when I didn't feel like complete crap but Monday and last night I felt so exhausted like no matter how much I slept I was still tired and felt like I had the flu. Last night I slept for 12 hours and still feel exhausted.

Appointments:  still haven't had an appointment, had a little spotting on Tuesday and freaked out about it thought I was miscarrying again so when and got my hormone level checked luckily they were still going up 125,000 and 127,000  and the spotting only lasted for like 8 hours.  Apparently around 10 weeks your hormones start leveling out and then they start going down so hopefully the all day sickness will improve.

Misc. I always throw up my dinner and sometimes I throw up during the day too. If I don't eat I felt nauseous and often if I do eat I feel nausea it sucks. I told 2 of my best friends this week. I was afraid one was starting to get upset because I kept on having to make excuses for not hanging out and it was her b-day this week and I couldn't go out I felt so sick. The other friend is visiting her parents for the week (she lives 5 hours away) so wanted to tell her so if I felt sick when we were hanging out this week. Don't think I will tell anyone else until the first trimester is done.

Thing brought for the baby: We got 172 diapers at  a cvs deal ended up being 16 cents a diaper. Not as low as I think I could get but brought the husband and he insisted on using all the CVS rewards right away on more diapers so it wasn't as cheap if I waited for another deal. Also went to a rummage sale and brought 10 hardcover baby books for a total of $1.20. One had a cd with music with it, one had shape magnets with it, and  a couple were touch and feel books. It was a great deal. I counted and we have almost 100 pieces of baby clothes I have been stocking up on when I find baby clothes on clearance for less the 2 dollars and we probably have 10-15 pairs of baby shoes. I stock up on those when they are less then 3 dollars new. We also have some I got from garage sales usually for 50 cents or less I only buy when they look barely used and are good brands.

  1. CONGRATULATIONS! It is common to feel tired during your first Trimester. I can sympathize with the all day sickness, I suffered that with my first. But not even morning sickness with my second. Take it easy and don't stress.

  2. Thanks. Good to hear you didn't have morning sickness with your second. I am afraid to have a second after how tough the first trimester has been with this one.
