28 weeks
Due Date: Feb 25
Weight Gain: 25 pounds eek!
Symptoms: throwing up almost everyday again a lot of it is from acid reflux sometimes I still feel nasauas as well- generally feel sort of crappy a lot of the time but nothing like the first trimester. Have been sleeping pretty good and I am not uncomfortable physically yet so that is good.
I'm thankful for: being in the third trimester and feeling the baby kick a lot
Cravings: soda (sprite mostly), egg and cheese sandwiches
Aversions
Sleep: pretty good although I am tired a lot
I miss:not having to worry about what I can and can not do- spray painting, lifting heavy things etc.
I am looking forward to: getting our kitchen done so our house is not a mess
Best moment this week: last week the baby's heatbeat was in the 150's to 160's and the doctor said it is very active
I'm stressing about: finishing paperwork and the messy house
Milestones: in the third trimester
Movement: yes
It's a...: Surprise I go back and forth between boy (we must be having a boy because everyone else is having a girl) to girl ( I have been so sick it must be because it is a girl) The midwife says she has a strong intuition that it is a girl. We shall see!
Exercise: horrible very little
Diet: eating out too much due to having no kitchen and being lazy
Weekly Goal:I would say exercise but I am so tired all the time I have no motivation
Baby Bargains: crib and dresser floor model for 230 more then 50 percent off a rug for 49.99 for the babies room down from 150. 2 pairs of baby boy shoes for 4 dollars. got baby sleepers for 2.90 cents brand new at sears I got 8 pairs 4 girl and 4 boy.

Ways to Spend less Make More this winter
Ways to try to save money this winter:
1. compare insurance rates
2. look at cable bill and see if we can lower it by asking if it went up
3. looking into different credit card reward offers (we have not credit card debt) however we have a card we use all the time for business and everyday purchases and we make a lot of purchase with the business we only get 1 percent back right now but probably could do better.
4. work on turning off the lights more
5. keep the heat set to 55 and use the wood stove all the time
6. eat out less
7. coupon to stock up on toltieries so we aren't spending money on them
8. Get better about our food spending
9. sign up for all the free b-day other promotions to get free stuff like eating out coupons
Ways to make money this winter
1. Sell stuff on Craigslist
2. Sell stuff on ebay
3, try to do the sites like swagbucks to earn amazon gift cards
4. enter contests to win free stuff

Extreme Cheapskates
Love the shop extreme Cheapskates but some things they do just don't make sense
1. reusing a real Christmas tree year after year...why not get a fake one to reuse I see them for free often on craigslist or get a really cheap one at a garage sale.
2. sharing a toothbrush and floss- first you can get them for free if you go to the dentist- if not you can find free samples/free products like this all the time online.
3. Razors you can get for free with coupons/free samples
4. if you were that cheap I don't think you would be worrying about your burial costs if you were in your 20's and 30's pretty sure this was a fake visit for entertainment purposes
5. these people don't have furniture in a lot of their rooms...I could furnish rooms for free if I really wanted to by searching craigslist free listings or finding stuff on the side of the wood (got some good stuff on the side of the road: a kitchen table, high chair, double jogging stroller, patio table) In our area at least people put things on the side of the road with a free sign quite often.

20 weeks 1 day HALFWAY THERE!
Due Date: Feb 25
Weight Gain: around 159 the weight is def coming on faster now- hopefully it doesn't come on too fast because i really don't want to gain more then 30lbs.
Symptoms:Still a couple throwing up sessions a week- its wierd I will eat then a couple hours later all of sudden feel like I am going throw up and then i will projictile vomit all the food I have eaten- doesn't stop until my stomach is empty. Sometimes when I try to eat again an hour or two later it happens again- however find if I just eat my protein cereal it stays down. Still feel tired if I don't sleep well- had trouble falling alsleep a couple times this week because my bladder constantly felt full. Peeing all the time!
I'm thankful for: the nauseus has been gone for the most part for several weeks and I just realized today i haven't had anxiety in like a month.
Cravings: cereal and almond milk
Aversions:dorittos and Dave and Busters are on my no no list after both have been thrown up everytime I eat them
Sleep: okay but wake up so much to pee so could be better
I miss: not feeling crappy half the time, compared to first trimester it is much better and tolerable
I am looking forward to: december when paperwork is done and I can relax
Best moment this week: feeling the baby kick is pretty cool, the husband can feel it too.
I'm stressing about: not too much right now
Milestones: I am half way done!
Movement: yes, feel flutters and little kicks esp at night but while I am right this I feel him or her
It's a...: Surprise I go back and forth between boy (we must be having a boy because everyone else is having a girl) to girl ( I have been so sick it must be because it is a girl)
Exercise: went on one 40 min walk this week, but need to get better at this I ordered yoga and pilates prenatal versions that should come in soon
Diet: not bad. I could def eat some more vegetables but pretty normal for me
Weekly Goal:start doing pilates or yoga dvds and start my hynobirthing cd.

Random facts/thoughts
- I still feel not like myself most days, tired, or just yucky in general although it is much better then the can barely get out of bed first trimester
-I get up like 10 times a night to pee, thats prob part of the reason I feel tired/crappy a lot of the time
-I usually got to bed before or around 9 and don't get up to around 8 so I am spending almost as much time in bed/sleeping as being awake
-My husband (the gun, 4-wheel, muscle car loving guy) loves musicals- Rock of Ages is one of his favorites
- My husband loves to cuddle- I like to cuddle but not constantly, we will often get into disagreements about how often we should cuddle.
- we have gotten into several fights the last couple of months because won't entertain the thought of us being a fancy car for me (husband wants to get a 30,000+ all the bills and whistle fancy SUV and I want a cheap economical SUV). I think i might have finally convinced him we are better off putting that money into equipment for the business but I find it ridiculous I have to argue with him about it.
- The husband is a work alcoholic, he also loves to spend money- luckily he is able to buy a lot of things for the business (like equipment) which satisfy some of his urge to spend money.
-I am lazy and would rather work less and spend less.

Why was I not aware of how horrible I would feel when pregnant
Around 5.5 weeks I started getting "morning sickness" and throwing up, by 6 weeks thru maybe 10 weeks I felt nausaus most of the day and would have 1-3 throwing up sessions a day. I spent most of those days in bed. At around 10 weeks? I started feeling a little better and could do more paperwork etc however still didn't want to go out much and was feeling pretty crappy. I was having trouble sleeping because I was waking up all the time to pee. Also throughout the whole time I would have days of extreme exhaustion where I was so tired it hurt. Also, one of the worst symptoms was after a particular bad day I would get bad anxiety and felt there was nowhere to relieve it. Now at almost 15 weeks during the day I usually feel okay not great but not too bad and usually in the evening I can't keep food down. I am still throwing up just as much but at least the all day nauseous has disappeared. I have also noticed a little bit of acid reflux but that symptom is minor.
I only leave the house a couple times a week and it is usually really short trips because I am afraid of getting sick. I have gone out with a friend a couple of times and my mom and felt okay for longer periods of time, however overall I have done almost nothing this whole summer and spent little time outside which is disappointing because it will be cold soon. However, I know I should be thankful we got pregnant easily.

weight up 3 or 4 pounds
Cravings/Food Aversions: orange juice, toaster strudels, waffles. Still don't like meat
Belly Button: In
Rings on or off: On
. Stretch Marks: no
Best moment: hitting 12 weeks or around 12 weeks since I don't know my exact date of conception and I told the neighbor and she is so excited because she has a 1 year old and 3 year old so we can have play dates
Looking forward to: still feeling normal again and being able to do things with out worrying about feeling sick. Not having to worry about anxiety. I get anxiety once or twice a week and it is the worse. I think it is over the fear of being sick.
What I miss: feeling normal- I am feeling a little better and can actual go out some and do some work etc but still feel crappy a decent amount of time and throw up every single day (usually between 5-15 times in a row) Although I did have one day this week I didn't throw up at all.
Appointments: prob the beginning of September but it is not firmed up yet.
Misc. I felt pretty good most of the weekend- took a nap on Saturday because felt very tired and woke up really groggy, so when I got the same tired feeling sunday tried to hold off on the nap guess that wasn't a good idea because by early evening I felt so sick and extremely tired - threw up like 7 times in row and finally managed to fall alsleep around 6:30 but woke up to my phone ringing at 10 and felt nausea and extreme tiredness. Finally fell back to sleep. Slept in until 8 this morning. I feel better today but still not great.
Thing brought for the baby: the neighbor found me jjcole bundle mes on one of the garage sale site they retail for 20-50 dollars each. I am suppose to meet the person on Saturday to pick up 3 of them two spring ones and 1 winter one for $2 each. We went and stocked up on a CVS diaper deal combining coupons and cvs rewards they ended up being 2.15 for a jumbo pack. we got 6 packs so it was .66 cents a diaper for size 3. However we have not used the 2 10 dollar cvs rewards we got yet- I didn't let the husband talk me into using it right away on more diapers- thats how you don't get a good deal- although the CVS brand diapers were super cheap I am hesistant to buy them because don't know how well they work. We now have about 350 diapers- I think we need like 3,000 at least!

11 weeks 2 days
Sleep: I kicked the husband out of the bedroom and now I am sleeping much better still wake up several times at night but not as often. I feel a little bad about not letting him sleep with me but figure sleep is more important.
weight idk I got to check this one
Cravings/Food Aversions: orange juice, mostly eat carbs because meat grosses me out and veggies are hard coming back up
Belly Button: In
Rings on or off: On
. Stretch Marks: no
Best moment: feeling a little better the last few days
Looking forward to: still feeling normal again and being able to do things with out worrying about feeling sick.
What I miss: being able to go out to eat and actually being able to eat more then a small amount/not have to worry about feeling sick. Socializing.
Appointments: had my first appointment but mostly just talking since we are staying away from ultrasounds unless medically necessary.
Misc. I am still throwing up pretty much daily (although yesterday was the first day I did not throw up all, but already threw up today). However, the all day nausea is gone and I just feel sick here and there. I also almost always feel like my stomach is hungry so it is hard to know how much to eat. Had some anxiety this week which is the worse luckily it seems to have gone away. (think I was having anxiety about feeling sick but not sure)
Thing brought for the baby: Target had baby clearance so I got a stoller/car seat set for 50 percent off $85. Also brought 3 pieces of baby girl clothes at a garage sale for 25 cents each. I also ordered a 4 in 1 crib in expresso on amazon for 90 dollars shipped originally $200. It is on backorder so don't know how long it will be till I get it but it was such a good deal I brought it even though it is super early to get a crib. The last thing I brought was a nursing pillow free just payed shipping of 12.99. (Didn't realize I brought so much this week until I listed it all! Guess I should scale it back)

10 weeks
Sleep: same as at 8 weeks: okay, wake up multiple times in the nigh, think part of the problem is I am hungry at night because I can't keep dinner down.
weight 151 up 1 pound from pre- pregnancy weight
Cravings/Food Aversions: can't eat bagels anymore. Hot chocolate colatta (even thought I really want a coffee colatta), cinnamon and sugar toast, nachos
Belly Button: In
Rings on or off: On
. Stretch Marks: no
Best moment: reaching 10 weeks and finding out my hormone levels are high and still going up.
Looking forward to: still not feeling sick, having energy back. Hopefully in 2 weeks I will feel much better
What I miss: still not feeling sick and ridiculous tired I had a couple of "good" days this week when I didn't feel like complete crap but Monday and last night I felt so exhausted like no matter how much I slept I was still tired and felt like I had the flu. Last night I slept for 12 hours and still feel exhausted.
Appointments: still haven't had an appointment, had a little spotting on Tuesday and freaked out about it thought I was miscarrying again so when and got my hormone level checked luckily they were still going up 125,000 and 127,000 and the spotting only lasted for like 8 hours. Apparently around 10 weeks your hormones start leveling out and then they start going down so hopefully the all day sickness will improve.
Misc. I always throw up my dinner and sometimes I throw up during the day too. If I don't eat I felt nauseous and often if I do eat I feel nausea it sucks. I told 2 of my best friends this week. I was afraid one was starting to get upset because I kept on having to make excuses for not hanging out and it was her b-day this week and I couldn't go out I felt so sick. The other friend is visiting her parents for the week (she lives 5 hours away) so wanted to tell her so if I felt sick when we were hanging out this week. Don't think I will tell anyone else until the first trimester is done.
Thing brought for the baby: We got 172 diapers at a cvs deal ended up being 16 cents a diaper. Not as low as I think I could get but brought the husband and he insisted on using all the CVS rewards right away on more diapers so it wasn't as cheap if I waited for another deal. Also went to a rummage sale and brought 10 hardcover baby books for a total of $1.20. One had a cd with music with it, one had shape magnets with it, and a couple were touch and feel books. It was a great deal. I counted and we have almost 100 pieces of baby clothes I have been stocking up on when I find baby clothes on clearance for less the 2 dollars and we probably have 10-15 pairs of baby shoes. I stock up on those when they are less then 3 dollars new. We also have some I got from garage sales usually for 50 cents or less I only buy when they look barely used and are good brands.

How I got 12 pieces of clothing for $43 with free shipping
http://www.thredup.com/r/DCDBLB
I brought 12 pieces of clothes from an online consignment shop. I got 12 pieces all tops and dresses for $43. Averaged 3.50 per item- 4 were new with tags the rest i would never be able to tell were not new and all name brand. You get 20 percent off your first purchase and free shipping over 50 but after u take off the 20 percent i still got the free shipping on the 43 dollars. I was a little nervous about online but they all fit except for 1 was too small, and I think there were 1 or 2 I didn't like, but not bad for that price (one sweater dress I am going to need my grandma to hem.)
Most were maternity items- I was trying to find a way to get maternity for cheap since I hate spend a lot on stuff i won't wear for long. I got some really cute stuff to wear in a couple of months when it starts getting colder. A couple were non-maternity.

8 weeks 1 day
Sleep: okay, wake up multiple times in the nigh, think part of the problem is I am hungry at night because I can't keep dinner down.
weight 149.5
Cravings/Food Aversions: fruit, bagels, seem to be what I want most now. However, still a lot of sickness so not loving food right now.
Belly Button: In
Rings on or off: On
. Stretch Marks: no
Best moment:
Looking forward to: still not feeling sick, having energy back.
What I miss: still not feeling sick and tired, getting out of the house, not being hungry or feeling sick all the time, not throwing up every single night it seems like every night I eat dinner and then just throw it back up. I tried waiting a couple hours last night then eating again and then I just threw that up again. So I go to bed hungry and wake up starving.
Appointments: my last weeks got canceled because she was at a birth hopefully this week I can make it up.
Misc. The nausea is still bad, but some days I feel okay most of the day, nights seem to be the worst and I think the car makes me feel sick so going try to avoid running a lot of errands. Today I felt nausea all day after being in the car- felt like all day car sickness. I told my mom I was pregnant this week because I was tired of making excuses of why I didn't feel like doing anything. But made her promise not to tell anyone because we still worry about a miscarriage.

7 weeks 2 days
Sleep: much better then last week- sleeping most of the night except for the bathroom trip at night.
weight 148 down about 2 pounds still
Cravings/Food Aversions: pretty much eating at this point just to hopefully help the nausea nothing sounds good I am always feeling at least slightly sick- been living on white breads, protein bars, chicken noodle soup and crackers
Belly Button: In
Rings on or off: On
. Stretch Marks: no
Best moment: told my one really good friend who is pregnant to she was super excited that we are not pregnant together (14 weeks) good to have someone to relate to all my pregnancy woes. Probably going to wait until 13 weeks until the miscarriage risk is almost gone to tell other people.
Looking forward to: not feeling sick, having energy back
What I miss: not feeling sick and tired, getting out of the house, not being hungry all the time
Appointments: tomorrow morning is my first
Misc. The nausea is much better then last week however still feel pretty crappy, feel hungry almost all the time and slightly sick, very tired and groggy, it has been in the 90's almost everyday all I want to do is lay in bed in the only air conditioned room and watch tv. I am currently taking 1/2 a unisom at night and 3 25 mg doses of b6. I had to decrease the dose of unisom because for 2 days when i was on 3 1/2 tabs i felt very anxious.

Best moment pretty horrible week with all the sickness that started last Wednesday and got really bad this weekend, at least many sites have said if you have morning sickness u r less likely to miscarry
Looking forward to: not feeling sick
What I miss: no feeling sick, getting out of the house, eating without worrying about feeling sick
Appointments: idk. midwife has not gotten back to me
Misc. No one told me pregnancy morning sickness was all day sickness that makes u feel like u have the stomach bug constantly. I started taking the unisom/b6 combo so hopefully that helps a lot.

spendign rules
Everything is based on inflation rider:
Personal Money:
- anything that is not a food. business expense, anything that is not necessary, Travel comes out of travel fund however once it is used up extra comes out of personal money., home renovations come out of home renovation fund unless we both can't agree to do them
Tools that are business expenses are justified if you need them for a job that we can see saving money at the time or recoup the cost within 3 years. If you lose a tool you already have and you have to buy a replacement it comes out of your personal money.
every month we do not have debt husband gets 200 dollars extra for personal money. Any extra work you do in the winter beside manure 50 percent gets put into personal fund after cost however your max is 10 hours a week you make by working not your guys this only applies if we are debt free except for mortgages. 10 hours averaged over 14 weeks. if have to pay someone to work in winter because you are not there due to vacation or being lazy the money comes out of your personal money.
baby fund: 500 year until we are pregnant
once we get money from overdue Jim it goes to credit husbands account for tool box (1070) plus it goes towards the computer we brought in advance and it pays for the welder up to 1500 dollars. Anything over 1500 comes out of husands account, anything under 1500 goes back into personal fund- excluding welder use products, however if machine needs repair within year from purchase it comes out of his money.
filling kegerator is 50/50, however no beer can be wasted. If we run out of a certain kind of liquior and u produce the empty bottle then its 50/50 out of husbands account unless I buy it then it comes out of mine. However it is considered a food product if used for cooking a meal.
Wine is a hobby comes out of personal money and everything to do with it is a hobby except if u make it from the grapes the add in ingredients do not come out of personal.
guns are a hobby.
muscle car hobby and related tools related use for bonofide business expense is recredited however must be justified and not ohhh I can use.
3 percent inflation increase per year unless we have any kind of debt other then mortgages on everything in this contract.
50/50 of alcohol at a restaurant is personal/ 50 perceont is food however any other achohol is out of personal if it is not coupled with a meal.
all gifts must be agreeded upon dollar amount. as listed below
Weddings: what that person gave us or 100

any extra spent in any category comes out of personal money
Tv is personal expense.
solo vacations are personal expense unless we agree to take out of vacation fund
entertainment is personal money or vacation fund it comes out of.
expenses over 200 dollars must be discussed with other person unless business expsnse however does not include farm
5,000 on farm a year includes upkeep of barn, plants, paying guys to upkeep it etc. unless comes out of farm
pole barn comes out of personal money (must save up) unless you can find a way to profit from it and make extra-
wedding business must show you can make a monthy income of 3,500-4,000
50 pecent of boat costs come out of craigs personal- a new boat comes out of craigs personal unless we have emergency fund, cash, and are contributing fully to retirment.

How we got over 700 dollars worth of plants for $25
A store we frequently often offered to give the husband clearance plants at a markdown of 75 percent to 90 percent off whenever he wants them because they know he is a landscaper and i guess they just want to liquidate their clearance plants (typically plants that are not as healthy as they would like, or have been sitting unsold for too long) Anyways yesterday when we were in there I was like lets look at the clearance stuff since I wanted to plant some flowers out front. We picked out some and when the husband talked to the manager about the discount he said we could have a whole rack for $25. They were those huge racks. We got like 15-20 silver water cans with flowers in them, about 8-10 pink hydrangeas., a bunch of annual flats, about 5 pots full of flowers, a hanging basket, some marigolds and some other various plants. our front yard is going to be filled with flowers.
Some of the plants will be used for one of the husbands clients the rest will go in our yard.

ebay update
total money made from selling stuff on craigslist from garage sales/or found on side of road: $120- already in budget
cross stich kits 5
Total money made from ebay: $61- not on budget page yet
I think I should stick to side of the road finds and garage sale finds for posting on craigslist since I have been making much higher profits and I so far am finding ebay not worth the effort of only making about 5 dollars an item on average.

Ebay sales
sold three things last week but only 2 have paid so far
a super why toy I got a garage sale for 1 dollar I sold for 14.99 plus shipping
and a Burt Bees Kit I had laying around I sold for 5 dollars plus shipping, so I made almost $20 dollars in profit since the shipping was less then I had guessed it to be. I haven't had much time to post a ton on ebay due to the business being so busy this time of year.
Total money made from ebay: $55.50
I also sold a high chair- (got off the side of the road- free) for $20 and we sold a Crib (kind of got off the side of the road long story) for $20

This was all clearance stuff husband got- personally we already have a deck and I would rather not spend money on all this patio, outdoor area stuff when we already have a perfectly good deck however he really wanted it and since we have made a lot of home improvements I have wanted I felt the need to give in- we will not be taking down our existing deck just putting a patio next to it and there is still potential we could sell some of this stuff instead of using it for us. We will see what happens. We will not be able to do this project right away because he is working 14 hour days about 6 days a week trying to keep up with all his clients landscaping, but he said they do not clearance stuff off often so this was a way for him to get his patio stuff for a lot cheaper then normal and most with at or below cost. The grill is the part that is really getting to me seems super high it is a grill with blocks and a countertop- i guess hopefully that can be moved with us if we ever move.
It looks like this except ours is a different color block.

Made Pillow Covers
A friend and I went over to my grandmas to learn how to sew and make pillow covers. I was able to find a fabric that matched my curtains almost perfectly- looks like pretty much the same fabric. I made 3 pillow cover with 12 dollars worth of fabric- they look great and I already had the pillows. Will probably go make more eventually once we got the hang of how to do it it was pretty easy although my grandma did most of the sewing. The rug I brought is a similar patter however has a white background instead of beige so won't put in this room because it would get so dirty- we have a red rug in there that works great because it doesn't show dirt.
New rug
It was 80 percent off and was 140 with tax free shipping. Probably shouldn't have brought it because will prob put in spare bedroom since it has a lot of white on it so don't want it to get dirty but I loved it and knew it wouldn't ever be that cheap again it is a 7'6 x 9'6, so I splurged. Although it sold out just when I brought it so hopefully they don't cancel the order.
update it go canceled- at least I didn't spend the 140 I guess

Garden Plot 1 Planted May 6-9th
Garden progress Plot 1
The challenge is always keeping the weeds and white welt away
So we have planted
lettuce- seed
basil - seed
These were planted in a small greenhouse by my dad and then transported into the garden
summer squash
winter/spagatti squash
other varieties of squash
melon
cucumberes
broccoli
We are starting on the early side this year, however it has been in the 70's here for the last week and the 10 day forcast shows an average high of the in the 70s with the lowest night time temp of 37 so hopefully we will not have to cover them.

Garage sale and shopping finds
went to one garage sale in our neighborhood and got a bunch of stuff for husband since he needs a lot of outside tools for landscaping business:
2 shovels: 1 dollar each (will use both)
2 tarps: 3 dollars total (will use)
mallet and ax: 1 dollar each (said needed another ax)
funnel: 1 dollar (will use)
hearing protection: 50 cents (said will keep as spare, don't we sell, but not kind he likes)
another hand tool for 1 dollar (forget to ask him about this one)
2 rolls of wire 3.00 (took chance on this one thinking husband might use since electrical wire is so expensive- but prob won't)
plus
drying rack 1 dollar (I needed one of these)
plus extender thing .50 cents (we also needed one of these)
broom handle 1 dollar (and needed one of these)
plus for free I got almost full containers of
car wash
leather cleaner
windex
antibactorial cleaner
painters tape
wood floor cleaner
kitchen scissors
I spent 15 dollars total, so although I shouldn't have brought the electrical wire and the mallet he said he already has a couple of I think it was a pretty good buy especially since I got all the cleaners were free and I was just guessing on what might be useful for him to have extra's. The girl running the sale was just trying to get rid of all the stuff in the garage because the owners had moved to Florida and sold the house.
The I went to the mall with my mom and brought
16 pair of baby/toddler shoes/boots/sandals: 1 dollar each
11 pairs of baby/toddles hats or mittens 1 dollar each
these were at HM marked way down- since most were originally around 10-20 dollars. I will resell most of these on ebay/craigslist/garage sale. However, I will prob save a couple for our future or baby shower gifts because some are so cute.
I also got a sweater for 7.50 marked down from 25.
Then at JCPenny's I got 6 bath towels quick dry on clearance for 3.20 each (used coupon to) and a sports bra on clearance for 3.20 so spent 23 dollars there.
So overall spent a bunch of money today about 73 dollars, but around 1/2 of that was either for the landscape business or my ebay business. I attached the pictures of a couple of the shoes I already listed, but the cutest ones I haven't listed yet.

shipping was 3.60
ebay and paypal fees approx 2.00

Ebay Business sale 2
adidas pants brought for 12 dollars
approx 3.50 in ebay fees and paypal fees
7.50 shipping (still very high- going to research how to ship for cheaper)
profit: 4.50
Total profit from all sales approx: 5.00
So although this was a higher profit- still not the kind of profit I am shooting for- I think 10 dollars an item is what I am aiming for- at this point I am just trying it out so only putting about two things up a week for sale- don't want to make a big investment to something that might not work.

Sold it for 28 dollars

Haha I think that was a fail but at least I didn't lose money we will see how other sales go- might be too many fees involved to do it the way I am doing it. I didn't waste any money on gas since i picked up the duvet cover while out shopping anyways with a friend and I had to go to the PO BOX anyways so shipped it then.

sick- stomach bug or food poisoning
Around 9pm on friday night i went from feeling a little tired to getting a headache like i had a cold to in about half hour time throwing up, i was having a throwing up episode every 1/2 hour to hour until about 3-4am then i felt nauseous until about mid morning (although this part was tolerable for the most part) and then felt pretty crappy for the rest of the day. Today I feel better, although still tired and my stomach can only handle small quantities of food. The husband thinks it was food poisoning, I think it was the stomach bug. Hopefully he does not get. I will be carrying hand sanitizer with me from now on in hopes of preventing this in the future.
I finding throwing up to be one of the worst things because there is not much you can do about it and I had no idea when it was going to end- although we had pepto i doubt it would have done much since i couldn't even keep liquid down and i have read that it is not good to prevent throwing up since your body is trying to clear out whatever it is.

New Vacuum and rug
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=18478048
I got this vacuum- I spent so much time reading reviews trying to make sure I did get another vacuum that loses suction and ends up being junk. This one got awesome reviews and many people said it was just as good as the dyson for a lot less. I used a 20 percent off coupon plus had gift cards left over from our wedding so only payed 72 dollars. So far it has worked great and I picked up a gross amount of dirt/dog hair in our house- I love how it has a attachment to do the wood and tile floors.

I also got this rug in red with the groupon I got for Christmas- currently we don't have a rug on our hardwoods in our family room we will see how it goes in there. If it gets too fully of dog hair I will put it in the dining room which doesn't get used much. With the groupon I spent 32 dollars out of pocket so, 75 groupon cost to purchase + 32= 107 dollars for an 8 by 11 area rug is a good price, however I was disappointed that I could not use it on many of the rugs I liked on the site since they were on sale and you cannot combine.
