Ways to Spend less Make More this winter

Ways to try to save money this winter:

1. compare insurance rates
2. look at cable bill and see if we can lower it by asking if it went up
3. looking into different credit card reward offers (we have not credit card debt) however we have a card we use all the time for business and everyday purchases and we make a lot of purchase with the business we only get 1 percent back right now but probably could do better.
4. work on turning off the lights more
5. keep the heat set to 55 and use the wood stove all the time
6. eat out less
7. coupon to stock up on toltieries so we aren't spending money on them
8. Get better about our food spending
9. sign up for all the free b-day other promotions to get free stuff like eating out coupons

Ways to make money this winter
1. Sell stuff on Craigslist
2. Sell stuff on ebay
3, try to do the sites like swagbucks to earn amazon gift cards
4. enter contests to win free stuff

Extreme Cheapskates

Love the shop extreme Cheapskates but some things they do just don't make sense
1. reusing a real Christmas tree year after year...why not get  a fake one to reuse I see them for free often on craigslist or get a really cheap one at a garage sale.
2. sharing a toothbrush and floss- first you can get them for free if you go to the dentist- if not you can find free samples/free products like this all the time online.
3. Razors you can get for free with coupons/free samples
4. if you were that cheap I don't think you would be worrying about your burial costs if you were in your 20's and 30's pretty sure this was a fake visit for entertainment purposes
5. these people don't have furniture in a lot of their rooms...I could furnish rooms for free if I really wanted to by searching craigslist free listings or finding stuff on the side of the wood (got some good stuff on the side of the road: a kitchen table, high chair, double jogging stroller, patio table) In our area at least people put things on the side of the road with a free sign quite often.
